FAQ: Are the scrolling “8’s” normal when my power supply turns on?

Yes. The N5700 and N8700 power supplies have a scrolling "8" across the display as the internal processor is booting up. This may take up to 30 seconds.

This change applies to units starting with serial number US14G and higher.
